Fundamental right to data protection

The fundamental right to data protection implies the right to personal data privacy, e.g. the guarantee that reliable data on to a person's identity will neither be disclosed nor communicated to third parties.

We therefore observe all applicable laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation («DPR») and the applicable Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz – «DSG») as amended, for the protection, proper handling and secrecy of personal data and data security.

Right to information

You have the right to be informed at any time of the data being held about you, its origin and recipient and the purpose for which it is used, as well as the right to such data being corrected, blocked or deleted. Personal Data

The master data we process are the personal information given voluntarily by you when you actively contact us. In case of legal entities, the master data are processed in terms of data protection if they can be traced to a private individual (e.g. name, telephone number, email address of a contact person). In addition to master data, we also process the contents of correspondence.

Technical Data: We record the IP address of your device, the Internet browser used, the browser language, your operating system, the data requested on our website, your preferences on Java, screen resolution, color depth, your clicking behavior on the website (time of access, clicks) as well as the website from which you accessed us (referrer URL). 

The data produced when you visit our website is collected automatically. Otherwise, we only collect data on the grounds of your entries on our website or other provision of information (e.g. by correspondence, a telephone call, by completing forms). We process the personal data for the purpose of providing information about Clara Maria Bauer and the Alma Mahler Philharmonie. The information retained is also used for purely statistical evaluations to assess the quality of our website, which enable us to improve our web-based service to you.

Contact form and Newsletter

When you send us enquiries using our contact form, the data provided in the form (including the contact details) is stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and answering any subsequent questions. We will never share this data with third parties without your permission.

If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter on our website, we need your e-mail address, along with information that enables us to prove that the specified e-mail address belongs to you and that you have provided your consent to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected. We will use this data solely for sending you the requested information; it is not shared with third parties.

Our own website contains links to external websites whose content we have no control or influence over. We therefore assume no liability for such content. The provider or operator of the linked pages is solely responsible for the content of those pages. The linked pages were checked for any potential infringements at the time that the link was created and no illegal content was discovered. Without being made aware of an infringement, we cannot reasonably be expected to monitor the content continuously. We will delete the corresponding links immediately upon becoming aware of any rights violations.
